goats of the future

farming goats in community

We propose a change: farming in community, in a way that enriches land and soil, as well as human health and imagination. We raise dairy goats to live curious, social lives; to express their animal instincts; and to harvest their own nutrition and medicine.

Meet the Herd
Joy
Joy

Stubborn, independent, head-butter of children, a good milker (though a bit of a kicker). She was the first goat added to the herd--and a most faithful, beautiful pal.

Rain Dance
Rain Dance

This gal is a selfish bully of goats and an attention hog to her humans, expressing her love for all people by rubbing her head all over their body. Rain is an easy milker and a resilient gal, despite her poor social skills.

Niccolo
Niccolo

Nicco is pure of heart and nearly all black in color but for some copper lines on her face and feet. She is shy and the smallest of the crew, but always up for gazing into your eyes and locking eyes with your soul.

Hike with Us

Before we had enough fencing to daily graze on wild forage, we took one or two long hikes each day and ate on-the-go. Our foraging hikes continue for the purpose of joy, community, and conversation. Reserve a spot on our Sunday night community hike, capped at 12 humans ($10/hiker). Look for more hikes beginning May 2021.

meet the kids

Book an intimate baby goat snuggle to get in on the early cuteness. Learn the kids' names, try out some goat yoga poses, and bask in the adorable playfulness of these unique creatures.
