goats of the future
Regenerating land & hearts.
As climate changes and the dairy industry collapses, we propose a change: farming in community, in a way that enriches land and soil, as well as human health and imagination. We raise dairy goats to live curious, social lives; to express their animal instincts; and to harvest their own nutrition and medicine.
Meet the Herd
herdshare owners
get milk from your own herd.
Gain access to seven months of wild-spun, organically produced, unpasteurized goat milk by becoming a herd-share owner. Or check-out our soap share for product all-year-long.
For a monthly boarding fee, we will care for your share of the herd and milk your portion of the creamy harvest. Milk will be stored for pickup at our farm in Ada--or dropped off in Grand Rapids for an extra fee. Soap will be shipped to your door at the turn of each season.
Whatever your share, we invite you to participate in work shifts, herd walks, and cuddles each week with your favorite beasts.
Meet the Milkmaids
Meet the 2019 milking team. These humans sacrifice their time, heart, and muscle for the goodness of herd-life and its creamy delights! Let us know if you're interested in joining the team.
